Provence Wedding Photographer - A Timeless Wedding in the South of France
04 June 2025
There is something unmistakably beautiful about a wedding in Provence. The warm stone, soft Mediterranean light and effortless elegance of the landscape create a setting that feels both romantic and timeless. Photographed at Château de Mille, in the heart of the Luberon, this celebration brings together everything I love about weddings in the South of France: refined details, natural beauty, delicate florals and an atmosphere that feels elegant without ever being overly formal.

Getting Married in Provence
Provence has a unique way of making a wedding feel extraordinary without trying too hard. From historic châteaux and vineyard estates to intimate celebrations surrounded by olive trees and lavender, the region offers an incredible variety of settings.
The changing light throughout the day is particularly beautiful for photography, from the soft tones of the morning to the warm golden light of late afternoon and the relaxed atmosphere of an outdoor dinner as evening falls.
As a Provence wedding photographer, my approach is to capture these moments with sensitivity and intention, creating photographs that feel luminous, emotional and timeless.

An Elegant Wedding at Château de Mille
Set near Apt in the Luberon, Château de Mille combines historic architecture, vineyards and the unmistakable character of Provence.
For this celebration, a soft and refined palette complements the natural tones of the château. Delicate florals, elegant table details and understated styling allow the surroundings to remain an important part of the visual story.
Rather than creating photographs that feel overly posed, I look for movement, connection and the small details that give each wedding its atmosphere.

My Approach as a Provence Wedding Photographer
My photography combines a natural documentary approach with a refined editorial aesthetic.
I want my couples to enjoy their wedding day rather than feel that they are spending it posing for photographs. I give gentle direction when needed, particularly for portraits, while allowing the rest of the day to unfold naturally.
The result is a collection of images that tells the story of the celebration while preserving its atmosphere, details and emotions.
I photograph weddings throughout Provence, the Luberon, Occitanie and across the South of France, working with both French and international couples planning destination weddings in France.

Planning a Destination Wedding in Provence
For couples travelling from abroad, Provence is particularly well suited to destination weddings. Many estates allow celebrations to unfold over several days, giving guests time to enjoy the region as well as the wedding itself.
From a welcome dinner to the wedding day and a relaxed brunch the following morning, these extended celebrations also create wonderful opportunities for natural and meaningful photographs.
